Move a role to its next stage
Drag the card to its new column, or change the stage on the role’s page.
Steps
- Find the role.Open Pipeline. Each column is a stage: Applied, Recruiter screen, Interviewing and Offer.
- Move it.Desktop Drag the card to the new column and drop it on “Move to…”. Or select the card and press Alt← or Alt→.Phone Open the role, tap its stage, pick the new one, then tap Move to.
- Or change it on the role’s page.On a computer, the stage button is at the top right of the role’s page. Choose the new stage from the list.
Why it works this way
- Moving a role doesn’t change its tasks or meetings. Open tasks and meetings stay as they are.
- A final interview shows as “Final” on the interview, not as its own stage.
- On an offer, the stage shows “Pending” while you wait for the written offer.
- On Starter, a role that moves past Recruiter screen starts to count toward the 10-role limit.
If something’s off
- The card won’t move. It may be read-only on Starter. Open it to see why, or choose it as one of your active 10.
- You moved the wrong role. Move it back the same way. Its tasks and meetings weren’t changed.
