Here’s what keeps your search private, and what happens to what you save, in plain words.

Evallo AI: what it sees, and when

AI runs only when you ask for it: when you press Review in AI Capture, or Generate on a role. Before you press Generate, Evallo tells you what will be sent. It sends only what that request needs, through Vercel to OpenAI.

• Nothing changes in your workspace until you review a suggestion and save it.
• We don’t use your records to train an AI model of our own.
• Basic Capture, which works without AI, runs in your browser and doesn’t send what you paste to an AI provider.

What this means for youYou decide what leaves your workspace, and every change is yours to approve.

Signing in

• You sign in with your email and a password of at least 12 characters. New accounts confirm their email before the first sign-in.
• A bot check runs when you sign in, sign up or reset your password.
• Resetting your password signs your other devices out. A device that was already signed in can keep working for a short time, until its current sign-in expires.
• Signing out or switching accounts closes off what you were doing, so nothing carries over into the other account.

Use a password you don’t use anywhere else, and keep your email account secure.

Payments

Checkout and billing pages are run by Stripe. Your card number goes straight to Stripe: Evallo never receives or stores your full card number or security code, and every payment update is checked to confirm it really came from Stripe.

Encrypted connections

Everything you send to Evallo is encrypted on the way, so people on the same network, including coworkers and your company’s servers, can’t read it. You get the same protection at home, at a coffee shop or on work Wi-Fi.*

Rules kept where your data lives

Who can see a record, and your plan’s limits, are enforced where your data is stored, not just on screen, so they hold even if someone tampers with the page.

Tested on every change

Every change has to pass thousands of automated checks, in several separate sets covering the app, the database and real browsers on desktop and phone, plus a review, before it reaches you.

* A work-owned laptop with monitoring software can see the screen.

Your information, your call

You can cancel your account yourself in Settings, on any plan, Starter included. Canceling and deleting your account are separate.

You can download your records yourself in Settings, under Your data, as spreadsheet files on any plan. For a full copy of your information, or to delete your account, email contact@getevallo.com. For your protection, we always confirm it’s you before acting on a request.

After a confirmed deletion request, your information is deleted or de-identified unless the law requires us to keep it. Copies in backups cycle out over time.

Instant sign-out on every device

After a password reset, every other device is signed out right away, not when its sign-in runs out.
