Add a role without AI
Type the details yourself, or paste a message and let Basic Capture fill in what it can, in your browser.
Steps
- Type it yourself.Open the Add menu (+), choose New opportunity, type the company and save. That’s all it takes.
- Or paste a message without AI.Open the Add menu, choose Paste a message and paste it. On Pro or the trial, turn off “Read it with Evallo AI”. On Starter it’s already Basic Capture.
- Check and fill in.Basic Capture finds what simple rules can, like a company or a date. Fill in anything it missed, tick what you want, and Save.
Why it works this way
- Basic Capture runs in your browser and doesn’t send what you paste to an AI provider.
- It’s included on every plan, and it keeps working after you’ve used your AI allowance.
- It finds less than AI does, so check the details before you save.
If something’s off
- Most fields are empty. Basic Capture only fills in what it can recognize. Type the rest, or add it later from the role’s page.
